Thank you so much for the link to these podcasts. After suffering from sinusitis for too long I referred to an older book that has been my best doctor "Your Body Speaks Your Mind" by Deb Shapiro. The book's diagnosis for sinusitis relates to "Broody Blue" and the interview with Michael Kokal - "an overload of mental work, doing too much head work." More etymology associated with "breathe me" and spirit from Deb Shapiro "to breathe is to inspire....sinusitis implies a pushing away of that which inspires."

Bang-on-the-nose comment, Linda! The nose that is the conduit for re-spir-ation, and the in-spir-ation of the subtle messages of say, the scent of a rose...

The head-mind... perhaps the greatest affliction of modern people, but so very un-natural, when its true calling is to be a worthy member of the whole human.

The nose is in the head, along with those pesky sinuses, but they are also of the body, and as such can signal what the body knows when balance is off.

'Pushing away that which inspires' - I couldn't say it any better.

The head-mind lords it over the many minds that operate the body, but this is not its job. Its controller propensity is rooted in fear.

I'm sure you know what to do, and what to not do!
